High School Christmas Party, December 18th, 2011

Hey there! The High School group will be having a Christmas party at 6:00, at the home of Wally & Missy Coates. All you need to bring is a $5:00 Crazy wrapped gift to be used in the "white elephant" gift exchange, and some boxes of pasta that will be donated to the Bridges Food Pantry.

Update!! Due to conflicting schedules, and holiday travels, the High School group will NOT be meeting this Sunday evening. We will be meeting on the evening of December 18th, at the home of Wally & Missy Coates, for a Christmas Celebration. Scaremare, Lynchburg VA October 27, 2011

Eight of us went to "Scaremare", (a haunted house put on by Liberty University in Lynchburg VA. Although the house was pretty cool, some of our kids were the scariest!


And of course, we had to make the trip over to the Famous "T-Room"



Never had a hamburger cooked inside an egg, with relish, cheese, and chili? Even the skeptics enjoyed!

Let's go to the fair! For those who are interested, we will be meeting at the "Clock Tower" at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 5th. Come out and have some fun, eat some not so healthy food, and hear some good music.

This is a "pay your own way" event. If you are running late, and still want to meet up with us, you can text Wally (404-200-7531), and I will let you know where we are (in the event that we've already left the clock tower area). You are responsible for your own admittance, food, and ride money. (Addmittance is 5 cans of food from Lowe's Foods).

Youth Bowling, Sunday 9/11/2011

Bowling Party! After a busy day, with just about everyone setting up and tearing down Bridges twice in a single day (Trial set up at North Forsyth), we all gathered at the Rural Hall Lanes for a showdown.




We all had fun, and showed our stuff, .... of course we all had different techniques....





....Some people you just can't take anywhere!

Bowling Party!!!

Youth Group Bowling! Sunday, September 11th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

That's right, green water at the pool forced us to cancel the pool party, and move things over to the bowling lanes. We will be at the Rural Hall Bowling Lanes from 4:00 to 6:00 on Sunday, September 11th. Come out and have a great time.

August 28th, CG Hill Park

Sunday, August 28th, the crew met up at CG Hill Park, near Reagan High School, and had a great time. Pizza, cup-cakes, songs, and our first session on the book "Do Hard Things" is how we carried out the evening.




Of course, some of us enjoyed the cup-cakes more than others....



...but we all had fun.

Pool Party! September 11th CANCELLED!

Due to the extreme rain we had last week, the pool party has been CANCELLED. Too much debris got into the pool, and the water is now GREEN, while green is good for the environment, no so much for the pool. Instead, we will be bowling. See "Bowling Post" on the blog for details.


High School & Middle School, come on out for Summer's end Pool Party! Our last attempt ended in a stormy, rainy day. The event has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 11, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at the North Forsyth (Rural Hall) Pool.
