August 28th, CG Hill Park

Sunday, August 28th, the crew met up at CG Hill Park, near Reagan High School, and had a great time. Pizza, cup-cakes, songs, and our first session on the book "Do Hard Things" is how we carried out the evening.




Of course, some of us enjoyed the cup-cakes more than others....



...but we all had fun.

Pool Party! September 11th CANCELLED!

Due to the extreme rain we had last week, the pool party has been CANCELLED. Too much debris got into the pool, and the water is now GREEN, while green is good for the environment, no so much for the pool. Instead, we will be bowling. See "Bowling Post" on the blog for details.


High School & Middle School, come on out for Summer's end Pool Party! Our last attempt ended in a stormy, rainy day. The event has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 11, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at the North Forsyth (Rural Hall) Pool.


Everyone bring a snack, and let's have some fun!

Saturday, September 10th.

Please note that this is on Saturday, not Sunday (our normal meeting date). This change is a result in the Pool Party scheduled for Sunday.

We are planning on meeting at CG Hill Park at 6:00pm. In the event of rain or thunderstorms, we will meet at Wally's home, at:

Don't forget, we will be discussing chapters 4,5,6,7 and 8 of the book, "Do Hard Things". Bring your copy of the book, as well as your notes and discussion questions.
