Sunday, March 25 (Service Opportunity)

This Sunday, March 25, the High School Xample group will be giving back just a little. A member of Bridges just purchased a home that has been vacant for approximately three years. While the home is in really good condition, the yard work has gone undone for quite some time.

I was able to get over and cut the grass earlier this week, but there are still a lot of leaves and branches that need to be brought out to the curb so the City of WS can come pick them up. This is where you guys come in. I need all your help in getting this done. If we all chip in, we can accomplish this in a relatively short period of time. Remember to wear "work" clothes, and closed toe shoes.

We will be meeting at Wally, Missy, & Rachel Coates' home at 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon, and then will go to the work site. When done, we will return to the Coates' home for dinner and our normal youth time, (6:00 - 8:00). Bring a change of clothes if you like.

Dinner will be provided by Missy, so please let me know if you are planning on joining us, so I know how much food will be needed. (wally@techport13.com, or text me at 404-200-7531).

Both the High School and Middle School groups will be wrapping up the 40 Days in the word series this Sunday. We will be discussing all that we have learned, and our plans for the upcoming weeks. Please come prepared to dive into God's word and have fun doing it.
