Don't let anyone look down on your because you are young, but set
an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in
purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
1. Speech: “Build Up/Don’t Tear Down”
Therefore
encourage one another and build each other up, just
as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
2. Conduct: “What is the right thing to do?”
In
everything set them an example by doing what is good. Titus 2:7
3. Love: “What is the loving thing to do?”
Therefore, as
God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion,
kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever
grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on
love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians
3:12-14
4. Faith: “I can trust God no matter what.”
Trust in the
LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your
ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5,6
5. Purity: “Purity in mind, body and spirit.”
God wants
you to be holy, so you should keep clear of all sexual sin. 1 Thessalonians 4:3
