Xample - 40 Days in the Word!

The Xample High School group will begin the '40 Days in the Word' series on Sunday, January 29th. This is a series that the entire Bridges Church will be participating in. The series teaches us how to be more involved with our Bibles, and how to really learn and live God's word.

Patrick's sermon on the 29th will kick off the session, and all other life-groups will begin the series on February 5th. We are starting a week early, because we will not be meeting for a lesson on the 5th, (The high school group will be having a Superbowl part at the Coates' home that night).

During the '40 Days' series, we are asking for individual commitments from each of you. We are asking that you pledge the following:

• Come each Sunday night to Xample
• Bring your Bibles
• Read and study the memory verses every day

Now some of this may sound tough, but it really isn't. We aren't asking for you to spend hours each night, simply 10 to 15 minutes each day. If you commit to doing this for the 40 days series, I promise you will be hooked!

As for the course materials, we will be following along with, and expanding on each Sunday's service. There is an official '40 Days in the Word' workbook that the adult life groups will be using, however we have decided to pull only parts of the workbook for the Xample group. We will distribute to you each week, the material for the following week. (There is no need for each of you to purchase the workbook).
